I recieve a lot of (junk) mail. So I also delete a lot of it. But I also keep a lot of older messages. Sometimes when I delete a newer message the older messages in my mailbox don't move up. Other times deleting these newer messages makes some messages dissappear. They are still there, they are just not visible on the screen. I ussually then select my drafts folder and then my inbox again to see al the messages. From time to time they do not reappear and I have to exit mozilla and restart it again to see my mails. I had this error in 0.8 and the daily build I just downloaded (Build ID: 2001021921)

Reporter, Are you using imap or pop?
I have one pop and one imap account. These errors occur in the pop account because there I receive and delete the most mail. I could be it also happens with the imap. Also here is some more info I noticed the yesterday The odd behavieur starts when I receive like 20 messages and my message pane is only big enough for 5. I read one message and press the delete key Then the older messages I want to keep in my inbox stays below and doesn't move up and the the message pane totally screws up message display (I sort my messages descending by date) and sometimes it's solved by selecting another folder and then selecting the inbox again. But on other times when selecting the inbox again the messages won't reappear and it appears I have an empty inbox. Then I have to completely exit mozilla and start it up again to see my messages (which is a bit annoying)
using build 2001021908 linux -red hat 6.2 worksforme. Sorted by date both ascending or descending messages display are normal in the message pane.
