I am using heavily Panorama for my job, having multiple "panoramas" with many different tabs inside (screenshot attached). Using the "show windows and tabs from last time" this is a very powerful feature to always have everything you need without opening every time the according bookmarks. Unfortunately when i had a crash of the browser(constantly using the nightly builds, but i guess this can happen also the the stable ones) the whole session.js file was corrupted and with that my whole panorama setup was lost. It would be extremely useful to have a possibility to save/backup this setup to a dedicated file (maybe also restore out of a list)

This hasn't happened to me for quite a long time but I wouldn't say it's impossible (especially if you're using Nightly). I usually back up the sessionstore.* files in my profile folder before updating my Nightly (but not every time). If you'd like backups to happen automatically I'd suggest writing an add-on that periodically backs up your profile folder or just your session store files.
