It would be great if admins could assign IRC channels to tags, and the UI would then display those as suggested channels to join in order to discuss the topics covered on a page.

We had a feature in the old skin that would do this but it's not supported by our current skin, even though the back-end code I wrote in DekiScript is still in place. It was a very useful feature.

Not until we have the ability to inject content into the sidebar area from script. That's bug 880397.
