User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:6.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0 Build ID: 20110811165603 Steps to reproduce: If I enter a word in lower case that should be in mixed case (and the correct mixed case spelling is in my dictionary) the correct spelling (with mixed case) is not included in the right-click options list. Actual results: When I enter the word correctly in mixed case (TextMate, SafetyLit, PubMed) the word isn't underlined as an error because the mixed case spelling is in my dictionary. Expected results: The lower case word entry is recognized as an error but, although the correct spelling (in mixed case) is in my dictionary, the mixed case version isn't in the drop-down options.
I would be really pleased if the drop-down list of suggested words included the word in mixed case.
Confirming on Firefox, Win XP. Notice that all-uppercase words in the builtin dictionary work (e.g. try 'nasa'). They are offered and if chosen from the menu the case is changed. The word added to dictionary is not offered in the menu. Tested on SafetyLit. However, Win XP and OS X probably use different spelling backends.
