See url, with flash embeds you get to see the "Tap here to activate plugin" plugin placeholder on Honeycomb. That doesn't make sense, since Flash is not supported on Honeycomb (bug 687267).
OS: Windows 7 → Android
Hardware: x86 → ARM
It seems like the "Tap here to activate plugin" plugin placeholder is also shown for <applet>'s and I guess also for every other plugin, see: http://people.mozilla.org/~mwargers/tests/applet/applet.html
Misleading as we don't support other plugins.
mfinkle any plans as how we are going to approach this for Firefox 9?

This should cover 2.0 and 2.1 devices as well.
Cases where plugin.disable is set to true too.
Blocks: 701100
Is this still a concern for FF9?
