1. Go to https://addons-dev.allizom.org/en-US/firefox/ 2. Type "a" and search for addons 3. Select different types of items from the All Addons like: Extensions, Themes, and items belonging to these 2 categories. Actual Results: 1. After expanding again, just one category remains under All Addons. The "Extension", "Themes", "Personas" and their subcategories are missing. 2. The user can select multiple items from different categories, including category titles. Expected Results: 1. All categories should be visible again after expanding "All Addons". 2. Not sure if this is intended - but is worth mentioning since it's kind of misleading. If you look at the URL, you are filtering by atype=4 - which is Search Tools/Engines. You are filtering by that add-on type, thus Extensions are not listed.

The behavior was different prior to fixing 696060 . I am happy to declare now it's not the case anymore. Closing as Verified Invalid.

I believe this is happening again - Pratibha made a video at http://tinyurl.com/6jz7ed2 On a normal use, all categories and subcategories are shown. After clicking a few categories and waiting for results to load, re-expanding shows only the selected category and its sub-categories. This is happening 1 out of 4 times aprox.

Comparing with https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search/?atype=4&cat=91&q=fire&platform=all&appver=7.0.1 the behavior is not consistent on addons-dev.

Current behavior on AMO-dev is the following: - user selects a category and after re-expanding the list, all categories and sub-categories are displayed. Looks good. Closing.
