69614 - mozilla hangs on "no route to host" error

When I attempt to access the url in question using Netscape 4.x, I get the
following error:

"A network error occurred:
 unable to connect to server (TCP Error: No route to host)
 The server may be down or unreachable."

When I try to ping the host directly:

~% ping www.peicommerce.com
PING peicommerce.com (207.86.17.205) from 10.0.0.2 : 56(84) bytes of data.
From ttn1-core1-s5-0-0.atlas.icix.net (165.117.51.85): Destination Host Unreachable

When I try to access this url in Mozilla, Mozilla hangs instead of reporting a
network error.

I did a bit more testing on this and not only does mozilla hang, it starts to
gobble up memory pretty quickly (300MB in 2min).  Once it gobbles up all the
ram, it of course gets killed by the kernel's memory subsystem....

With a build from 2/27 on linux and windows, I do not hang, instead I get the 
dialog with the following message, "The operation timed out when attempting to 
contact www.peicommerce.com."
