Steps to reproduce:

I attempted to submit my entry for the October Dev Derby. I also page refreshed and resent POST data but still nothing.


Actual results:

I received a permission denied page upon submission. When looking at Firebug, it was a 403 Forbidden error.


Expected results:

The submission should have gone through.

User account 'twolfson' is active. Do you have cookies disabled? Can you try this again today? 

Sheppy, can you see anything in MT control panel that might disable this account?

I have fixed it; I apologize for wasting your time. Here is what happened:

As requested, I checked my cookies and they were enabled. I attempted to change my profile. The change was rejected as with before. Then, I attempted to submit my Dev Derby entry, still nothing.

As a consequence of both, I began to write this up. Then, I decided to take a look at my "Web Developer toolbar" settings (namely the 'Disable' section). I saw that "Disable Referrers" was ticked and decided to try enabling it and see if anything changed (one less degree of error). As it turns out, when I tried to change my profile this time, it went through. And now I am responding and closing the thread.

Thank you for your assistance and I apologize for wasting your time. I actually really appreciate the level of security that is given from the Referrer. Thanks once again and have a nice day.
