Actual results:

The requested URL could not be retrieved
While trying to retrieve the URL: http://searchword/ 


Expected results:

google search with "searchword"

Reporter -> Are you still experiencing this issue? It is working for me...If you are still experiencing please do the following:

Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode

How about with a new, empty profile? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic%20Troubleshooting#w_8-make-a-new-profile

@Tim: I tried a fresh install on a different pc and there it works. So I can back that this is not a general issue. Still, would be nice to get it working again with my current profile.

Closing bug as WFN - If it works in Safe Mode then an extension is at fault. You should also try a new profile. As this is not a general bug, you can get assistance by visiting the Firefox help site -> https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ask
