This is a highly desired feature, but has currently taken a back seat to stability and performance issues. Greg's team isn't likely to be the owner, for now I'm good.

In that case this bug is invalid. We could morph it to "Work on nsUpdateNotification.*" ;-) Anyway, I ran into ths because it uses nsAutoCString from nsFileSpec where it could just as easily use the more regular string classes. I'll attach a (small) patch to this bug if anyone's interested.
Adding meta keyword. Btw, is this bug still valid with latest builds? Its been nearly 8 months since the last comment. As usual - Sorry for the spam!
