This server appears to only run the 3crowd "CrowdCache" application, but is not actually being used for anything. At one point it did serve getpersonas.com via Crowd Cache, but that was long ago and was removed from service. Now, getpersonas.com doesn't even go through 3crowd at all. According to inventory this system has a twin, pp-proxy01. I can't find this in DNS, but it's OOB replies. I suspect it can be retired as well. Both OOB's are for Supermicro iX systems. pp-proxy02 (which I can get into via ssh) appears to be a dual Xeon E5620 (quad-core w/ HT) with 24GB RAM and a single Intel 160GB SSD. I would guess pp-proxy01 is similar. Perhaps these could become Zeus nodes? Just a thought.
shyam can you down this and mark it as spare in inventory, and clean out DNS records for it? We'll keep this in mind for future uses.. I like the zeus idea, but otoh it is an IX.. :/
