User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:7.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0.1
Build ID: 20110928134238
Steps to reproduce:
Repro:
1. Set high DPI settings to large fonts
From [Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display] set size to Larger (150%)
2. Log off and back on if needed for the change to take effect
3. Browse to http://www.youtube.com and pick any video
4. Select the Full Screen icon at the lower right of the video.
Actual results:
The video increases to full screen, but is partially hidden behind the Windows Taskbar which stays on screen
Expected results:
The video is full screen and the taskbar is hidden.
Also:
1. Does not occur on default DPI setting (100%)
2. Does not occur when the DPI compatibility mode option is turned on
a. Right-click the firefox icon and select 'Properties'
b. Select the 'Compatibility' tab
c. Select the option for 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings'
d. restart firefox and repeat the experiment
I am using high DPI settings in Windows 7 with Nightly 10.0a1. When I switch Youtube to full screen, the video begins playing attached to the desktop but the Firefox window does not disappear, unless I click the minimize tab. Firefox behaves as expected and hides the main window when I switch to back normal 100% DPI. I believe this bug is similar to the one reported by Warren.

I'm also seeing this with my DPI settings set to 1.5. Should this be attached to 820679?

We're in the process of removing support for plugins (bug 1677160), so I think this bug is irrelevant now.
