User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:7.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0.1 Build ID: 20110928134238 Steps to reproduce: Installed FF7 onto new machine and added the FF Sync device account information Other m/c has FF5 installed with all my passwords Actual results: New FF7 failed to sync set of passwords. When I upgraded the original FF5, Sync copied the 'new' i.e. empty password set from FF7 onto the original m/c nuking my password set. All history, bookmarks etc transferred OK Expected results: The 'latest' set of passwords, even though on older FF, should have been preserved on the server for syncing

Reporter, please test again on the latest firefox build or nightly build. We need your sync log to determine the problem. To set up sync logging, see: https://philikon.wordpress.com/2011/06/13/how-to-file-a-good-sync-bug/

(In reply to Steve Bower from comment #2) > although I *did* think that it was performing OK now, so is this an old fail? Yeah, that's October 3rd. If you're not having problems now we can close this. Thanks for the report; please reopen if it happens again.
