Recently I was a bit confused about the whereabouts of the recently added -fomit-frame-pointer in configure.in, until I found out, this is now handled from frameptr.m4. I think we should port Bug 680277 also to c-c.

I'm behind on my reviewing, and not sure when I'd be able to get to this, targeting Standard8 for hopefully sooner review.
