697766 - Affiliates: UX review for new features

Crystal/Jason:

We are adding additional functionality to Affiliates 1.1 that will need some UX design before it gets assigned to the designers. Specifically, bug 695840 is going to add an additional step to the banner creation process and we would like to discuss the approach to the change.

For now, I would suggest to create an account on https://affiliates.mozilla.org and become familiar with the UX as it stands now so we can discuss where we want to go in the future.

If UX is swamped (which I hear may be the case) we can mock up the new functionality and run it by one of you rather than having you mock the whole thing up.

Crystal: Well, sort of. We want a UX review of the new BrowserID capabilities on the website and also bug 695840 (has yet to be be implemented). The BrowserID capabilities have not yet been merged and updated on the servers yet. When BrowserID and the 3rd step save button lands on -dev, we would like a UX review of how it was implemented. This is going to be difficult, because of our now weekly rapid release of Affiliates. It would probably make more sense to talk and discuss UX issues and ideas with proposed changed then to actually have you review a working website.

Marking as WONTFIX, any new efforts at doing a UX review of the site should probably go in a new bug.

A new and vastly improve+gorgious site has been launched. Old bug for an old version of the site - bumping to verified.
