We just recently started using the beta channel and one thing users trip over most is that there is no way to link directly to the beta channel. I've given users a link to: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/lightning/#beta-channel but since the reviews are loaded after the anchor is shown, the user is presented with the reviews instead of the beta channel. Users then complain that the site just shows the latest stable version, not the beta versions they were looking for. I'd expect that after the reviews are loaded, if either #beta-channel or #install-beta is given, the page scrolls down to the beta channel and preferably also uncollapses the box.
This is a good idea, I'm going to look into making this happen (or something like it)
