I don't see the reason of having to display the users' emails (in the CC list, the comment headers and other places too). All a "malicious" user could just register here in bugzilla.mozilla.org and then "harvest" all those email addresses and use them for I don't know what. Why not provide a "username/display name" field in the user account settings and show that one instead.
