I would guess events are not happening in the expected order, or something like that.
(Maybe something has changed in Core/Toolkit?)

NB:
I didn't check Firefox builds.
I don't know when it started.

Atm, they still fail.
Let's wait just a little longer and see whether my .xpt packaging fixes (which are in the c-c timeframe and just landed on branches) will fix that :-|
