Steps to reproduce:

Please navigate as below from MENU bar:
Tools --> Options --> Advanced --> General.




Actual results:

Under "Browsing" there is an extra checkbox which is unnecessary. I have verified the Nightly version before reporting and it has the same interface same as the stable version. In fact, this issue is not till the Firefox 6. I noticed it started with Firefox 7 and still present in Firefox 7.1 too.


Expected results:

If we notice the end of the line in the first and third frames within the window, it confirms there is some text possibly missing againts the checkbox or the checkbox is unnecessary and should have been removed.

Hmm..
Safe mode doesn't reproduce the problem. And please note that I have not disabled any addons during the safe mode nor anything else is disabled. Please let me know if any more info or workaround is needed.

Hmm, Safe Mode disables ALL add-ons per default. Can you tell me what add-ons you use?

I suspected as the pop up showed again a checkbox to disable all addons. Anyways, thanks for the confirmation.

Current Addons:
Adblock plus 1.3.10, Adblock plus pop up addon 0.2.9, Better privacy 1.67, Bit Defender Quick scan 0.9.9.99, Browser Protect 1.1.3, Colorful tabs 7.0,Complitly - Speed up..1.1, Dvix+ Video plyer HTML5 2.1.2.126 (incompatible with FF 7.1), DoNotTrackPlus 1.4, Download Status bar 0.9.10, Fireshot 0.94, Freecorder 1.1.10, Java Console 6.0.22 (incompatible with FF 7.1), Lastpass 1.74.0, Personas 1.6.2.

Perhaps enabling 4 addons in each iteration can be of some help to confirm. I wait for your opinion though.

Yeah, once you found the possible 4 add-ons that are causing this issue, please continue narrowing down the selection by disabling two of them, and so forth.

Well, I think we found the culprit. Series of passes confirms the problem is with the addon, "DoNotTrackPlus". More information on the passes is below (if you are interested):

Pass A: First 7 are disabled and rest are enabled.
Bug : Yes.

Pass B: 8,9,10,11 are enabled and rest are disabled.
Bug: Yes.

Pass C: 8,9 are enabled and 10,11 are disabled.
Bug: Yes.

Pass D: Only 8 (DoNotTrackPlus 1.4) is enabled.
Bug : Yes

Pass E: Only 8 (DoNotTrackPlus 1.4) is disabled and everything else is enabled. (This confirms the culprit addon)
Bug: NO. This confirms the addon DoNotTrackPlus 1.4 has slight compatibility issue with the Firefox 7.
