i was talking to Pierros about how cool it would be if the phonebook was available offline so we can access even when traveling. he agreed and told me to file a bug- here it is :-)

As the database grows larger and the dataset does too, it would be hard to make the phonebook an offline app that included ALL the data, but storing emails and names would likely be doable. Not sure if groups would creep up on usual localStorage limits (effectively 5MB). This is a cool idea that would need to be worked on a bit, but I dig it.

This is a really cool idea, and it could be a great app to work with Firefox OS. If someone is interested in working on this, I would love to chat through some ideas about how this could work.
