The about:telemetry addon causes the error "Could not read chrome manifest file '...\extensions\ping.telemetry@mozilla.com\chrome.manifest'." in the Error Console. This is similar to the problem with the default theme - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=586610.

This is in the 11/5 nightly.

Would an empty chrome.manifest suffice here, or does the about:telemetry addon need to be left out of extensions.ini (as in bug 586610)? The empty file makes the error go away.
I don't have this message with about:telemetry v0.14 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/abouttelemetry/versions/ @David Rees: Can you check this again please. Else close this bug. Thanks

about:telemetry is now part of Firefox, so the addon is no longer needed.
