70026 - pages sent from composer don't stop loading when viewed i. Also

using 2/22 build of netscape

1) launch netscape
2) jump to above URL
3) File | Edit Page

 now you're in composer

4) make some changes to that page
5) File | Save/Save As
6) From composer, File | Send Page

Mail it back to yourself.

7) Now open Netscape 6 Mail
8) retrieve the message you just sent yourself

you either get a hang or a crash.

incident id or paste the stack trace.

actually we did it from Fenella's machine...and come to think of it
it only hung, didn't crash the second time...if we can get it to crash
again, we'll include talkback report..

changing the severity to major-this problem is still seen on 2001032106 on win98
and adding keyword nsbeta1.  There is a work around to get out of the hang.  
Just selecting another read message can get rid of the hang.Or hit the stop 
button should cause it to stop too.   And the mail application can be used after 
that. 

But everytime this message is selected the hour glass appears. And the status 
bar reads as 'Loading message'for ever.

What append is that when you send this page you have save localy, all the link this page refers to are not correct 
therefore when you display the message, layout is spinning trying to resolve those url which doesn't exist. The 
application doesn't hang!  Change severity to minor and set priority to P3. Also remove nomination for 
reconsideration.

I don't hang. I crash.

I'm not able to get my stack trace at the moment.  If it's just happening
following these steps it's not as big of a deal, but if we can reproduce a case
where a user created document has this problem, then I think we need to fix it.

Could someone try this out?  If it's really happening because a url doesn't
exist then it shouldn't be too hard to reproduce.

I tried several pages and they all worked for me as long as they didnt have any
images on them.
If they had images on them then I got the crash.

It is not Esther's fault, I should have responded on this bug. Since it was
regarding send. Esther is the default person who gets assigned to all the bugs.
