1) Install using custom options to a non-standard diectory
2) uninstall

result:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Nightly\ TaskBarID is added to registry, even though the previous install was in a non-standard location. (For example C:\Program Files (x86)\Nightly2\)

This is a passive error, but we should be cleaning this up. From the report in bug 577867, this might be happening on update as well. It does not happen on a fresh, installer based update however.
