Steps to reproduce:
Opened Firefox at work and saw this. I use 7.0.1 at work and 8.0 beta at home. I use the Mozilla-provided Firefox Sync server, not a private one.
Actual results:
This bar is constantly at the bottom of my screen. It fails to sync and constantly displays down there every time I do something that would have been synced, like switch tabs.
Expected results:
Should have synced unobtrusively and properly with the Mozilla-provided Sync server.
note that my log is from 11/4/2011, i followed the instructions at https://philikon.wordpress.com/2011/06/13/how-to-file-a-good-sync-bug/ but couldn't get any later logs. this started happening on 11/7/2011

Tom, that log is pretty much empty. Is that all you see in about:sync-log?
Have you tried restarting Firefox?
What does it say in the bar?
