700486 - [Firefox Live] QA review of production site Wednesday 9 Nov @ 7:15am PST

Once Firefox Live is pushed to production Wednesday at 7am Pacific (bug 699775), we'd like to verify the functionality before announcing the site on our blog and on social media.

Here are the three main areas to test:
1. Localized pages are viewable (use language selector at bottom to change locales)
2. Video stream for all 3 cameras is viewable
3. Social buttons are functional (Like, Send, Tweet on the main page; Like and Follow on the returning user overlay).

Also, verify that the two overlays display:
1. non-Firefox user overlay that includes "Switch to Firefox" button
2. returning user overlay that includes Like and Follow social buttons

We can use #firefoxlive on IRC to collaborate in real time during and after the push.

Timing: We'd like to review the production site immediately after it's pushed Wednesday around 7am Pacific. I think a spot check shouldn't take longer than 15-30 minutes. If there aren't any major issues, we can announce the campaign around 8am and turn on the promotions pointing to the site.
