Dogfood currently states:
This indicates a bug nominated as a blocker to using the product as dogfood.
Dogfood is the ability for internal Netscape development to use the Seamonkey
product for daily use. The Product Delivery Team at internal Netscape reviews
these bugs daily for a PDT+ (approval for immediate fix}, or PDT- (non-urgent
keyword addition).
The last sentence is no longer true and should replaced by:
Look for this keyword to be changed to the dogfood+ or the dogfood- keyword to
indicate approval/rejection of higher prioritization of this bug.
dogfood+ should say:
This indicates a bug accepted as a blocker to using the product as dogfood. This
bug has a higher than normal priority to be fixed.
dogfood- should say:
This indicates a bug rejected as a blocker to using the product as dogfood. This
bug does not have a higher priority due to its dogfood nomination. (The bug's
regular prioritization still applies.)
Thanks!

Would it be possible to make the dogfood keyword less Netscape-specific? For
example, "This indicates a bug nominated as a blocker to using the product as
dogfood. Dogfood is the ability for developers, QA, and other testers to use
the browser and mailer for daily use."

we have the severity Blocker "blocks development and/or testing work" for the
more general case. Severity it isn't a nomination, it's a statement about the
severity of a bug. The dogfood keyword is a nomination asking for netscape
management to allow a netscape developer to work on this bug before others or
for netscape management to apply pressure to the developer to fix a bug. I
don't think a more general nomination process is necessary (do you want netscape
management applying pressure to you to fix a particular bug?)

renamed dogfood to nsdogfood, added nsdogfood+ and nsdogfood- keywords. Updated
nsdogfood definition and added definitions to nsdogfood+ and nsdogfood-

>renamed dogfood to nsdogfood
good solution :)
I like the new descriptions. Perhaps the sentence "This bug has a higher than
normal priority to be fixed" for nsdogfood+ should mention Netscape, but I
don't think it's too confusing since the keyword starts with "ns".
