Mac Lightning does not claim to open .ics files.

So when I get a .ics (from Eventbrite, for example), on iCal on the Mac is in the list.
This is correct because Lightning doesn't offer this feature. In case of event invitations just use the accept/decline buttons in the mail pane. Or use menu Events & Tasks > Import to manually import a selected file.
It was not received by email. It was downloaded from the web browser. If I select "iCal" iCal will import it. I would expect lightning to do the same :-/
This is tracked by tracker bug #549199. AFAICS this does not have Mac child yet...
