On this page http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/thunderbird/channel the Earlybird button points to > http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/nightly/latest-earlybird/thunderbird-9.0a2.en-US.linux-i686.tar.bz2 which is a 404, because the actual "latest-earlybird" directory contains 10.0a2 builds now (not 9.0a2), after this past week's thunderbird migration. Similarly, the beta link on that page points to a version 8.0 build when it should point to a version 9.0 build.

Thanks, I must start setting reminders to make sure this is done. Fixed in r97701/r97702. > Similarly, the beta link on that page points to a version 8.0 build when it > should point to a version 9.0 build. We haven't released a 9.0 beta yet due to taking a bit to fix some issues on beta, so this part isn't valid, we'll update it when we release.
