Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0
Build ID: 20111104165243

Steps to reproduce:

I've applied the auto-update from Firefox 7 to Firefox 8.

Actual results:

After that, on some sites (for example http://www.cdw.ca ), it still applies my username but I have to manually type in my password. I didn't have to do this in Firefox 7. I have cleared the entry in the "saved password" in Firefox but when I go back to that site, it no longer asks me if I want the password to be saved.

Expected results:

It should have pre-entered my password in the "password" field.
Summary: After installing firefox 8, it no longer applies saved passwords on some sites → Firefox 8 no longer applies saved passwords on some sites
Severity: normal → S3
