Rocco: When you browse to about:crashes (with SeaMonkey), do you see (probably near the top) a line dating from when you had the crash? If you do, please paste the link (the bp-something text, or failingthat the URL), thanks.

In a later hourly 20111113113831 http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/7ae3089be8a5 I get a somewhat different crash, with an "ABORT" message for mozilla-central ipc/chromium/src/base/thread_local_posix.cc line 33. The next hourly 20111113122657 http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/7ae3089be8a5 starts OK in a fresh profile. Now I'll try to run it in "real" conditions.
WFM with this hourly: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:11.0a1) Gecko/20111113 Firefox/11.0a1 SeaMonkey/2.8a1 ID:20111113122657 Hm, I don't see any Mac hourlies. Rocco: if tomorrow's nightly starts OK, you may set this bug to RESOLVED WORKSFORME (meaning the bug has gone away and we don't know exactly why).
(In reply to Tony Mechelynck [:tonymec] from comment #8) [...] > Hm, I don't see any Mac hourlies. Ah, there, I found one: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/tinderbox-builds/comm-central-trunk-macosx64/1321213111/seamonkey-2.8a1.en-US.mac.dmg Rocco, you might want to test this build (or any later build) — I think it's not a Universal build but a MacOSX-Intel 64-bit build, but that's what you need anyway isn't it?
Crash Signature: nsCOMPtr_base::assign_with_AddRef | nsFactoryEntry::GetFactory → [@ nsCOMPtr_base::assign_with_AddRef | nsFactoryEntry::GetFactory ]
With today build, it's all OK.
