when typing in facebook.com or www.facebook.com, tapping the URL field again will show character encoding, instead of the pretty name. See screenshot. Doesnt reproduce with all sites (gmail, msn, cnn, all seem fine) Repro: 1) install 2011-11-14 native nightly, samsung galaxy S 2 2) type in "facebook.com" or "www.facebook.com" 3) after page loads, tap the URL field again 4) Verify character encoded in address bar Expected: - pretty view of URL address
Summary: Some URLs is still showing encoded characters → Some URLs are still showing encoded characters in Address Bar
It looks like you were redirected, and the URL has the original URL (www.facebook.com) embedded in it. What does the URL look like if you move to the beginning of the text?
