Steps to reproduce:

I have updated from Thunderbird 7.0.1 to Thunderbird 8.0. 



Actual results:

The Romanian menu translations are wrong! Somebody decided to change some message strings and did a horrible job! We even have OK(M) instead of the „Go” menu, which in Romanian would be something like „Mergi la”. 


Expected results:

It should have been the same translations that we had in Thunderbird 7.0.1. Everything was OK with those. No mistake. No bad translation!

Alex, perhaps is a Narro problem? I don't identify in Narro this bad strings.

Yes, Raul, that was my original message. You can find the first wrong translations in this picture http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/840/rotranslationproblemint.jpg/ . For the rest of the wrong translations, you can either manually search all menus or just revert Thunderbird to the TB 7.0.1 RO language file, which was OK.

Suggestion for translating Re: and Fwd: options: 

Romanian Yahoo Mail has „Răspuns” for Re: (the subject header) and „Redirecționat” for Fwd: (also the subject header). 
This could work as well for the Reply and Forward buttons or menu options. 

Plus, we need to be able to set the Subject „Re:” string when we send a reply to whatever we want, just like we can do it with „Fwd:” by changing the „mail.forward_subject_prefix” in the Config Editor. Anyone know how to do this?

We need to have something like „mail.reply_subject_prefix”, so we can change the Re: to what we want. At the moment, there's no entry that we can change in order to translate the Re: to what we want.
