Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:11.0a1) Gecko/20111115 Firefox/11.0a1
When Mozilla Maintenance Service is already installed, installing an update of a higher service number will replace the old service. On Windows Vista and Windows 2000 the service number is not replaced when upgrading Nightly. Tested on the November 14th build from the elm branch.
Reproducible: always
Steps to reproduce:
1. Install the November 14th build from the elm branch.
2. Go to the Installation Directory of the service and right click on maintenanceservice.exe
3. Go to Help menu -> About:Firefox and perform an update
4. Check the service number again.
Expected results:
After the upgrade from step 3 the service number is replaced.
Actual results:
The service number is not replaced when upgrading Nightly.

Windows 2000 should no longer install the maintenance service.
I just installed a Windows Vista and tried and it worked correctly.
I think maybe this was an old problem that was fixed when maintenanceservice started doing its own self updates. Please retest to make sure you get the same results but I'm marking as invalid for now.

Another thing to look out for here is that the version numbers are only incremented on builds of different days. So make sure you install the version you will upgrade to first for this test to see what version it is. Then when you intsall the old verison make sure it's an older version of the maintenanceservice.exe.
