Details

There are no tests for Talos.  This means that there is no good way of
checking to see if the code still works when you make a change.  There
is the staging environment, but that has several hours of overhead in
setting up, which is prohibitive for large changes.

Talos really needs tests -- unit, integration, it doesn't matter --
just so that they reliably run and provide some sort of safety net for developers.
