Pascal, This is an exciting bug to file! Can you execute the redirects to coincide with next week's 4.7 release? (November 22, 2011 - authorization Bug 692825). Step 1. Redirect 100% of product traffic from mozilla-europe.org to the EU pages on mozilla.org/firefox Step 2. Turn our attention to updating the /fx pages on mozilla.org/firefox ( http://www.mozilla.org/de/firefox/fx/ ) which will be shown to users of versions lower than the most updated Firefox with a clear referral path to the community site at europe.mozilla.org for when it is ready. Follow Bug 702771 to stay in the loop.

I closed a few other bugs which were basically duplicates of this one. This is the only moz-europe redirect-related bug now (except for the one blocker on this which discusses the authorization for this). I hope that's ok Chrissie, just trying to keep the number of bugs down.

Super helpful James, in fact, splendid!
No problem doing that for November 22 or before if you want as Mozilla Europe did not have a weekly schedule. I would prefer to see Tristan blog about it before but since he posted that on governance and we also talked about that with the community in Mozcamp Europe.
Pascal, thanks for your help with all this...am resolving the bug now.
