During the SOPA crunch on Tuesday night, we would have liked to use GeoIP data to target the snippet to the US. Locale is good sometimes, but en-US in particular is widely used around the world (and the US is not 100% English-speaking) so for things like specific, political calls to action, it would be nice to filter by location, too. Can we make it possible to restrict snippets to a region, or from a region?
This was done in bug 836532.
