Details
New targetApplications added to a file/version by an addon developer are not recognized/accepted by the application.
Example:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/shortcut-package/versions/?page=1#version-1.7.5 doesn't contain Thunderbird as target version in the install.rdf, but has set compatibility on AMO to 0.3-10.0a1 for Thunderbird. Using the Add-ons Manager's search will find it, clicking the install button will try to install it and fail, claiming it is not compatible.
If you think that this is not an AMO bug, move it to Toolkit > Add-ons Manager.
