User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:10.0a2) Gecko/20111117 Firefox/10.0a2
Build ID: 20111117042013

Steps to reproduce:

Firefox full screen support should allow a user to adjust the width of the web content.

Actual results:

Every site defaults to maximum screen width

Expected results:

Much like a resize window, when in full screen, reaching the left or right edge of content should provide a resizer to allow one to narrow the width of the displayed page.

I turned bug 639705 into just the bare necessities for implementation, so I'm making this depend on instead of block it.

Safari doesn't seem to do this at all.

Ben, is this still in issue?

Hi Josiah,

It appears this feature may have only been in safari 5 and has been removed/disabled in Safari 6 https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4147074?start=0&tstart=0

I think despite that, this would be a useful feature for full screen users.

Hmm. Considering how OS X treats fullscreen modes, I don't really understand why this would be that useful. I'll keep it open, but am reducing priority since this no longer is consistent with Safari.
