xslt.alexa.com needed to load page when running a local page

Details
I have resin 1.2.b2, java118, webmacro running a web server and trying to load a
page, it times out if my modem is not up. Comes back with message "cannot find
host xslt.alexa.com". I looked and this is Tomcat. my web pages are servlet
based with a template engine (Webmacro). This works fine with no connection and
another well known browser...
