Steps to reproduce:

I upgraded to Thunderbird 8.0 recently. That caused an update on Lightning which appeared to fail, I did a manula install of Lightning 1.0.
My PC ins Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit.

Actual results:

One of my Calendar (Calendar on my PC) reminders popped up, I selected to dismiss it for 2 hours and I got a Mdofication Failure. No further information was presented in the details dialog. Subsequent remiders have failed the same way.
I cannot find a similar failure listing.
The functionality is broken.

Expected results:

The reminder should have been delayed by the 2 hours chosen and then closed.

Similar to bug 702705. I suggest you change the product information to lightning.
Component: General → Alarms
Product: Thunderbird → Calendar
QA Contact: general → alarms
Version: 8 → Lightning 1.0
This is likely the same as Bug 701659
Status: UNCONFIRMED → RESOLVED
