Right now if you have the dashboard/repo/sync open in multiple tabs, each one will be polling the server. Only one needs to do it. We should use localStorage to coordinate that.

The old app sync codebase is no longer going to be supported. Apps in the cloud will be under a different codebase. None of these bugs are valid anymore.
