We should have a script that, using the storage abstractions, can move all records from one storage backend to another. This way we can perform our own migrations when necessary. With a file backend we should be able to migrate data locally for testing purposes.
This might interact with Sauropod privacy expectations, e.g., need admin access.

The old app sync codebase is no longer going to be supported. Apps in the cloud will be under a different codebase. None of these bugs are valid anymore.
