Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.75 (Macintosh; U; PPC)
BuildID: 20010226

Launched Mozilla normally. Activated a sidebar tab (such as Tinderbox) that uses
a non-local (meaning not residing on the local machine) URL source for content.
Mouse over highlights on user interface components cause the active sidebar to
redraw. Not expected behavior. Has been confirmed to only affect OS X, not
present in build 2001022808 on Mac OS 9.1 (booted into OS 9.1, not running
through Classic-compatibility environment).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Mozilla
2. Select the Tinderbox tab (or any tab with an external content source)
3. Move the mouse over any user interface widget (ie. reload, search, print)

Actual Results: The sidebar redraws.

Expected Results: The sidebar should not redraw.

This behavior happened while running under Mac OS X build 4K60.
OS: other → MacOS X
Confirming on OS X (build 4k46) with the 2-26-01 Carbon build from the Fizzilla
page. Mousing over toolbar elements when a sidebar such as www.massinova.com 's
is loaded, it re-pulls all external elements like images, etc. and then
refreshes the sidebar content area. When you go to Offline mode, mousing over a
toolbar element flashes the pointer and the tooltip (turning the pointer into
the busy cursor), but doesn't reload content from even cache.
