Details
The last page had make a search in toolbar will persist a compartment in about:memory. Reproduce: 1. Open about:memory & www.google.com 2. Ctrl+F call out findbar, do any search, like:'map' 3. Close google tab, observe about:memory this list about google, which will never go away. 3. Until you do another search, say, open www.mozilla.com, then search "leak" in find toolbar, close the tab. 4. The persist compartment now became the mozilla one. Win7 sp1 32bit, Firefox Nightly

Reproduced: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:11.0a1) Gecko/20111128 Firefox/11.0a1 Pressing "Minimize memory usage" does not help.
OS: Windows 7 → All

I does not help to just close the find bar. One must search in another tab to release the locked compartment.
