This should be a mailman list.
Summary: [Zimbra Distribution List Request] firefoxflicks@mozilla.com → firefoxflicks@mail.mozilla.org
*weeps* okay.

Is there a particular reason why a mailman list and not a distribution? I use mailman for other projects and it is exceptionally painful to use. I'll suffer through it if it's the right call, but would like to know why.
Two reasons unfortunately. If we are having people not on our server on the list we use mailman and if someone outside of IT needs to manage it we will also need to use mailman.
:(

Can I make a side request for better support materials for using mailman then? A wiki? user guide? Anything. I've searched and asked and found very little that's helpful. I get sent an admin password and that's about it in terms of support. I'm happy to read a manual on my own, but I haven't found anything that explains how to use it well.
There is some documentation here:

http://wiki.list.org/display/DOC/Mailman+2.1+List+Administrators+Manual

But if you have any questions feel free to ask.
It's a start. Thanks! If I get super stuck I'll ping.

*I still hate mailman, but like that I can get help with it now.
Can I get an update on this? We're planning on going live tomorrow.
The Firefoxflicks mailman list has been created.
Thank you Ann!
