The tab numbering went missing with 2 tabs open.

Repro:
1) install nightly fennec, 11-30-2011
2) open two tabs (i had one on about:firefox)
3) verify tab numbering is missing the number

Expected:
- 2 tabs opened, "2" visible

Actual:
- missing numbering

I suspect this is due to your custom font.

Worth trying with the normal font to see if it suddenly starts working

i am able to reproduce this today on SGS2 and Motorola RAZR.  using 12-15-2011 build. 

REpro:
1) launch fennec, about:home starts up.   
2) click the new tab + icon in upper right corner
3) type in about:firefox
4) verify page number marker is missing.  page is fully loaded.

this time with default font.

one other thing i noticed:  when device screen times out, and gets awakened, the page number comes back.
