(Not sure if this is actually a bug on the zooming side or the scrolling side, so this may not be the correct component.)
On my Motorola Atrix (MB860) running Android 2.3.4, the past few versions of Firefox (well, actually, synchronically, Firefox Beta and Aurora) have had an issue with the scrolling freezing in a way that makes it essentially impossible to scroll down a page.
This is often (though not always, I don't think) caused by zooming in (either by unpinching or double tapping) while a page is still loading.
Once the freezing happens, both the vertical and horizontal scrollbars are stuck in place (usually at some seemingly-predetermined off-center location) and normal scrolling is not possible. Doing a regular finger slide has no effect on the page (though is usually still effective in displaying the browser UIs). Pinching, moving, and unpinching can sometimes be used as a way to pseudo-scroll down the page, but this is not always effective. Sometimes, the page will just automatically scroll right to the top or bottom of the page when this is done.
These frozen scrollbars persist even when escaping to the Home screen. They may or may not clear up when switching tabs or interacting with the location bar. The only reliable method I've found to fix the issue is to fully quit Firefox and restart it, but this obviously has other repercussions.
