706998 - When minimizing window to dock, messages appear differently

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_7_2) AppleWebKit/535.2 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/15.0.874.121 Safari/535.2

Steps to reproduce:

Minimized main window


Actual results:

As it's shrinking, look at the message list. It changes to what looks like a previous version. Specifically, the selection changes, old messages appear, etc.


Expected results:

It should look just like the current view. Otherwise it looks like a new message was received just as you were minimizing the window.

When I unmaximize the window, the current message list and the highlighted message doesn't change. So, I don't have this issue here.

Just to clarify, this is a Mac-specific bug. I'm talking about minimizing to the Dock.

I'm not sure I understand you bug description completely could you try to explain a bit more what the issue is ?

I can't reproduce on Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:11.0a2) Gecko/20120123 Thunderbird/11.0a2.

Can you try in -safe-mode (see http://support.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/kb/Safe-Mode) ?

Running 11.0 now, and haven't been able to reproduce it.
