After entering the POP3 account password (and if there is at least one message
to download), clicking on Get Message results in Mozilla crash:
"MOZILLA caused an invalid page fault in module MSGBASE.DLL at 0167:6058bbf3"
Sometimes it doesn't happen, for the first time of using Mail (after installing
a new build). It is always reproducible later. Note that I always uninstall the
previous build before installing the new one (but I don't delete anything in
Windows directory, because I don't want to loose previous messages).
still crashes with build 2001030704. It still prevents me from using Mozilla Mail :(

Does this crash happen on a new profile (set up to use the same mail account as
your old profile)?
I always use the old profile, (once migrated from Netscape 4.7). Recently,
after deleting all mozilla files in \Program Files and \Windows and migrating
from NS4 profile again, Mail worked. The next day I uninstallled that build and
installed a more recent one. Then problem re-appeared. Something that might be
related is that not all Mozilla uninstallations succeed. In most cases, the
related prompt is not displayed and binary content in \Program Files is not
deleted.
If you need more info or have a troubleshooting procedure to suggest, I 'll be
glad to help.
I deleted all Mozilla files and, in last 3 days builds, there are no crashes.
Perhaps the initial migration from NS4.7 Messenger was problematic. If the
problem reappears in the future, I will reopen the bug. Marking WORKSFORME (it
may sound ridiculous for a reporter to use this resolution but anyway...)
