Currently the URLs are structured in a way such that /apps/ is expected to be / for apps. URLs look pretty awkward as is (e.g., https://apps-preview-dev.allizom.org/en-US/apps/apps/?sort=paid) The root on apps-preview-dev.allizom.org and apps-preview.mozilla.org should be /apps/.

This is going to be fixed in django, so we don't have to 302 from the incorrect urls.
